Law and order situation deteriorating in MP: Oppn
Bhopal, Feb 22 (UNI) The opposition today demanded an immediate debate over deteriorating law and order situation in Madhya Pradesh in the state assembly.
Raising the matter during the Zero Hour, Leader of Opposition Jamuna Devi said law and order situation was not proper in the state.
Several members had given adjournment motions over this matter and it must be taken up for discussion.
Speaker Ishwardas Rohani said opposition members must state whether there was a specific issue over which it wanted a debate.
He asked the opposition to come up with a specific issue before him and assured that the matter would be discussed in the House.
CPI(M)'s Ramlakhan Sharma alleged that a girl was recently raped by the two sons of a woman officer. The girl later died under mysterious circumstances.
However, no rape case was registered in this regard, he said.
