JD(U) leader Anand Mohan sent to Chas jail
Bokaro, Feb 22 (UNI) A local court today rejected the bail application of former MP and JD(U) leader Anand Mohan and ordered to send him to Chas jail.
The court of first class magistrate Akhilesh Kumar rejected the bail application after framing charges in a decade-old case against him.
Mohan was brought here from Saharsa jail on February 20.
The court had issued a production warrant against Mohan for his alleged provocative speech near the administrative block of Bokaro Steel Plant in 1995.
A case against four persons, including Mohan and his wife Lovely, was lodged at a local police station in the steel city.
Mr Mohan had been absconding for a long time in the case and today appeared before the court.
