IBC Monitoring system in NE

Agartala, Feb 22 (UNI) The Indian Buildings Congress (IBC) has recommended that monitoring systems for various natural hazards in the North Eastern Region (NER) need to be modernised with installation of additional seismic stations, flood warning systems and GPS equipped with autonomic analysis and warning systems connected to major cities.

The IBC which held its National Council and Chief Engineers meeting that concluded here recently has suggested guidelines on planning aspects for disaster management among the professionals in Northeast.
