CPI advocates for fresh mandate in J'khand

Dumka, Feb 22 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI) today advocated for a fresh mandate in Jharkhand saying the present UPA-led government had failed to check corruption and implement developmental schemes properly in the state.

Talking to reporters here party's state secretary and MP from Hazaribagh Bhuvneshwar Mehta said the state's condition had deteriorated in the last six years since its separation with Bihar.

Mr Mehta alleged that ministers in the UPA-led Koda government were following the footsteps of erstwhile NDA government.

The CPI leader said that developmental schemes like National Rural Employment Guarantee Act were not properly implemented. He said migration of tribals to other states still continued.
