CM urges Microsoft to take IT benefits to rural areas
Hyderabad, Feb 22 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today urged the Chief Research and Strategic Officer Microsoft Craig Mundie to take benefits of Information Technololgy to rural areas particularly in fields of education, heatlh and agriculture.
Mr Ready said all possible support would be provided to Microsoft.
Mr Craig along with Microsoft India Officials-- Country Head (Public Sector) Rohit Kumar, National Technology Officer Vijaya Kapoor and MD Srini Koppulu-- called on the Chief Minister and apprised him about the operations of Microsoft India.
Mr Craig informed the Chief Minister that Microsoft was aiming at providing training and software development projects to students of the state for developing skills on next generation Microsoft tools and technologies which would improve their career options immensely.
