Chennai Sangamam invites papers on 'TN in 2020'

Chennai, Feb 22 (UNI) ''Chennai Sangamam'', a festival organised by ''Tamil Malayam'' and the Department of Tourism and Culture here, has invited vision papers from corporate leaders, academics, experts, bureaucrats and social activists on 'how Tamil Nadu should be in 2020'.

It could either be a comprehensive vision plan encompassing various fields or new measures to develop a particular field like education, industry, human resources, rural transformation, water resources management, women's development, culture and tourism, an official release said here today said.

The vision document would not only set a vision but elaborate an action plan road map.

A group of eminent panelists would shortlist and select the best three presenters, who would be given the 'Master Visionary' title and award at a function to be held in Chennai.

Apart from this, government also announced 'Tamil Nadu 2020' essay competition for school and college students, where the students too would be given master visionary award, the release added.
