Budget Session in Kerala begins Mar 2
Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 22 (UNI) The Budget for the next fiscal in Kerala will be presented in the State Assembly by Finance Minister Thomas Issac on March nine.
An official release here said the 20-day Budget Session would begin on March two with a customary address by Governor R L Bhatia.
Vote on Account for the first four months of the year 2006-07 would also be presented.
Three days would be devoted to the general discussion on the budget while Vote on Account would be put to voting on March 19.
The fourth session of the 12th Legislative Assembly would conclude on March 29 This would be the second budget of the Marxist-led Left Democratic Front Government in the state headed by Mr V S Achuthanandan.
