One Killed three injured in Kashmir Firing

Srinagar, Feb 21 (UNI) One labourer was killed and three others, including a government official and a contractor was injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire in the south Kashmir district of Anantnag this afternoon, a police spokesman said.

He said unknown gunmen opened fire at Damhal Hanjipora when labourers were constructing a culvert.

He said a labourer, Mohammad Ramzan was killed on the spot while three others were wounded.

The wounded were identified as ---contractor Bashir Ahmad Wani, Supervisor Mohammad Yousuf and Mohammad Abdullah they were admitted to hospital in a critical condition.

Two of the injured were referred to Shar-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences at Soura.

A massive hunt has been launched to nab the militants.
