MK to launch second phase of Unemployment aid scheme Feb 24

Chennai, Feb 20 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi will launch the second phase of the programme providing unemployment allowance to educated youth on February 24 at Coimbatore.

An official press release here tonight said the first phase of the scheme was launched by the Chief Minister on November 11 last year benefitting 1.88 lakh youth.

In the second phase, financial assistance upto a maximum of Rs 900 being the assistance for three months, will be provided to 2.5 lakh youth, it said.
