Vijayawada, Feb 20 (UNI) City Police Commissioner C V Anand tonight announced the setting up two special investigation teams (SIT) comprising 16 personnel to unravel the mystery behind two murders in the city, including that of a ten-year-old boy.

The teams have been asked to concentrate on the cases till the accused were arrested and produced before the court.

Earlier in the day, the boy's body was found behind the APSRTC quarters after he was brutally murdered by some unidentified persons.

The boy, C Raghav Krishna Chaitanya, had left his house four days back.

In another case, a 15-year-old girl, Koneru Nagasree, studying in Class X went missing on September ten last year.

The next day, her body, covered with grass, was recovered from a culvert near Punadipadu Village on the outskirts of the city.

Police suspect the girl might have been raped before she was killed.

The Patamata Police, thereafter, questioned three minor boys on the suspicion of their involvement in the killing as they had teased her on several occasions.

Women's associations also took out a rally to protest against the alleged failure of police to bring the culprits to book.
