Police arrest four, seize Star-fish, Leeches, Conches

Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu, Feb 20 (UNI) Police today arrested four persons and seized maring specris worth Rs 50 lakh in the international market from Threspuram near here.

Police said all the marine species star-fish-Leeches and Conches were seized from a godown, belonging to one Meerasha (30), based on a tip off.

Nine cylinders, two four-wheelers, two bikes, nine cell phones and 300 litres of diesel were also seized.

The arrested were Anto (36), Regan (26), Peter (52) and Abdul Nazar (24) all belonging to Threspuram.
