Mumbai ATS team in Panipat to 'study' nature of blasts

Mumbai, Feb 20 (UNI) An Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) team of the Mumbai police has left for Diwand near Panipat to study the nature and modus operandi of the terror strike on the Samjhauta Express.

Talking to UNI, ATS chief K Raghuvanshi said here today that a team, comprising around four members, has been sent to the blast site to study the nature of the blast.

''We have sent a team just to review the situation and to learn from there,'' Mr Raghuvanshi said.

He said there is a little bit of similarity between the Diwana blasts and July 11, 2006, blasts here.
