Lifer to three for killing youth

Madikeri, Karnataka, Feb 20 (UNI) A lower court here has awarded life sentence to three persons, including a woman, for murdering a youth in 2002.

The district and sessions court awarded the lifer and slapped a fine of Rs 2,000 on each of them.

The prosecution case was that Aiyappa, Ganapathy and his daughter Fancy of Chelavara village had bludgeoned to death Ramesh as he had eve-teased Fancy.

Ramesh's father had lodged a complaint with the police.
