New Delhi, Feb 20 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum (JKDF) today strongly condemned the attack on the Delhi-Attari Samjhauta Express and expressed the hope that the India-Pakistan peace process will continue.

''Perpetrators of such inhuman and barbaric incidents should not go scot free. They should be punished for being enemies of the humanity,'' JKDF president Bushan Bazaz said.

He urged Indian and Pakistani leadership to carry on with the peace process.

''Terrorist violence should not be allowed to derail the peace process.... Perpetrators of violence should be isolated,'' he added.

Attack on the Pakistan-bound train has so far claimed 68 lives and injured several.

Twelve injured, mostly Pakistanis were brought to Safdarjung hospital.

Blasts ripped through two coaches of the train at around 0100 hrs yesterday near Panipat in Haryana.

The deceased include 26 men, 14 women and 13 children while the remaining 14 bodies were burnt beyond recognition, officials here. A 15-year-old Pakistani boy succumbed to injuries in hospital this morning.

However, only 12 of the 68 killed have been identified so far.

The victims include eight Pakistani nationals and two RPF personnel.

This was one of the deadliest terrorist attacks on the Indian Railways system and perhaps the only one in which Indian and Pakistani civilians have lost their lives.
