Asst. Commercial Tax Officer caught redhanded while accepting bribe

Bangalore, Feb 20 (UNI) An Assistant Commercial Tax Officer in Commercial Tax Office, Hassan, was caught redhanded by Karnataka Lokayukta sleuths while accepting bribe for showing official favour, Mr S G Suragimat was caught while accepting Rs 1,500 from Mr H C Shashidhar for issuing certificate to start his new business Shashi Enterprises in Hassan.

Mr Suragimat was arrested immediately further investigation is in progress.
