AP CM meets SIMA entrepreneurs
Hyderabad, Feb 20 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today assured members of the South Indian Mills Association (SIMA) to provide 55 MW power and enough water for the upcoming SIMA Textile Park in Nellore district.
The Chief Minister, who held a meeting with officials and SIMA entrepreneurs, also assured them to provide a dedicated 220 KV feederline to ensure uninterrupted power to the Park and other incentives to the entrepreneurs. The land would soon be registered in entrepreneurs' name, an official release said.
Dr Reddy promised that Telugu Ganga waters would be made available to the Park by March 2008.
Describing Dr Reddy as 'proactive', the entrepreneurs assured him that the construction work would start immediately.
