75 militancy-affected families get compensation in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 20 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government has sanctioned ex-gratia relief to 75 militancy-affected families of south Kashmir Pulwama district, an official spokesman said today.

He said the District-Level Screening Committee took up cases of the militancy-related deaths and property damages.

The Committee sanctioned an ex-gratia of Rs 57.27 lakh to the families.

Of this, Rs 26.75 lakh were sanctioned in favour of 27 death cases, Rs 22.34 lakh in favour of 28 property damage cases and Rs 8.18 lakh in favour of 20 injury cases, he added UNI
