Ultras behead a person branding him as police informer

Hazaribagh, Feb 19 (UNI) The proscribed CPI (Maoist) ultras last night decapitated a man, accusing him as a police informer, whose body was recovered in Kharna jungle in this district of Jharkhand today.

Superintendent of Police Praveen Kumar Singh said the victim, identified as Dwarika Singh (40), was returning home at Kharna from Bishnugarh last evening when the ultras waylaid him.

A note left by the body said that the person had been killed for acting as a police informer.
