Ultras behead a person after branding him a police informer

Hazaribagh, Feb 19 (UNI) The proscribed CPI (Maoist) ultras last night decapitated a man, Charging him with being a police informer, police today said.

The body of the victim was recovered in Kharna jungle in this district of Jharkhand this murning.

Superintendent of Police Praveen Kumar Singh said the victim, identified as Dwarika Singh (40), was returning home at Kharna from Bishnugarh last evening when the ultras waylaid him.

A note left by the body said that the person had been killed for being a police informer.
