Morning chillness gives way to warm and drier day

Kolkata, Feb 19 (UNI) The morning chillness faded as the sun rose high to keep Kolkatans warm during the day.

The sky remained comparitively clear with no signs of rainfall.

The temperature today remained constant with the maximum being recored at 27.1 degree Celsius and minimum at 17 degree.

Humidity has reduced since yesterday with the maximum being recorded at 89 per cent and the minimum at 47 per cent.

There is no chance of rainfall in the next 24 hours, MET officials informed.
