Madras HC Advocates Assn seeks notification of Cauvery award

Chennai, Feb 19 (UNI) Members of the Madras High Court Advocates Association (MHAA) today formed a human chain in front of Madras High Court premises, demanding that Centre notify the final award of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal in the gazette.

MHAA members, led by President R C Paul Kanagaraj, staged the protest on the busy NSC Bose Road for about 15 minutes.

The agitating advocates shouted slogans against the Karnataka Government and demanded protection for Tamilians in Karnataka.
