Jamnagar police seizes country-made revolver, one arrested

Jamnagar, Gujarat, Feb 19 (UNI) Police seized a country-made revolver from a person hailing from Madhya Pradesh, in Virvav village of Kalavad taluka in the district.

According to police sources here today, sleuths of the local crime branch led by inspector R J Barot, acting on specific information, raided the premises of Haresh Mohan Bahmania and during the search operation recovered a country-made revolver from him late last night. He was subsequently arrested.

Police sources said Haresh hailed from Jambuva district in Madhya Pradesh.

Police have registered a case under the Arms Act, police sources added.
