eSys best distributor for volume business: IBM

New Delhi, Feb 19: Software exporter IBM India has adjudged eSys, one of the largest IT distribution companies in India, as the best distribution partner for its 'System x' range of products.

eSys sold maximum number of IBM's xSeries eServers in India in 2006. IBM's x range of products include x86 Intel processor-based servers for Windows and Linux.

Mr Neeraj Chauhan, Chief Operating Officer, eSys Group, said ''This award underlines the efficiency of our entire distribution channel to establish a better connect between the consumers' and IBM's interest.'' At its 'Annual Business Partner CEO Kick Off 2007' meet, IBM India bestowed eSys Information Technologies with the award for its superlative performance in the year 2006.

Mr Mukul Mathur, Country Head, Business Partner Organisation, IBM India, said, ''This award is in appreciation of efforts made by eSys as a distribution partner towards growing the depth and reach of 'System x' business in India.''
