Hooda visits injured passengers of Samjhauta Express blasts
New Delhi, Feb 19 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda visited Safdarjung Hospital here this evening and asked after the condition of 13 passengers grievously injured in the Samjhauta Express train blasts.
He expressed satisfaction over the treatment and the medical facilities being administered to them.
While talking to mediapersons, Mr Hooda termed the incident ''very unfortunate'' and said it occurred at a stage when the relations between India and Pakistan were improving.
He said 67 passengers were charred to death while 13 injured in this incident.
Mr Hooda lauded the efforts of the state administration and villagers in the relief operations.
He said the sarpanch and villagers of Diwana village would be honoured by the state government for their outstanding contributions to the relief operations.
