Eleven identified include a Kashmiri woman, 3 RPF men

Diwana, Panipat, Feb 19 (UNI) Eleven of the 66 killed in the Samjhauta Express blasts identified so far include a 50-year-old Kashmiri woman andthree RPF personnel.

The body of Yasmeen Akhtar, wife of Mohammad Maqbool Qureshi and a resident of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, was recognised by her relatives at the Civil Hospital, also called Bhim Sain Sacchar Hospital, here where the bodies all those killed have been kept.

''We could recognise her from the ornaments and clothes she was wearing,'' one of her relatives said.

The other deceased who has been identified so far is Shakeena Begum (55), whose son Fayyaz (29) and nephew Raisuddin (24) recognised her from the clothes she was wearing.

''Her passport and Rs 7,500 kept with it were also retrieved and the officials gave it to us,'' said Fayyaz.

A resident of Zafrabad in Delhi Ms Shakena, who has two sons, was going to meet her relatives in Pakistan.

The third woman identified was from Seelampur in Delhi.

While six Pakistani nationals have been identified, the other Indians identified include three Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel.
