Dasari worships at Balaji Temple

Tirumala, Feb 19 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Coal Dasari Narayana Rao offered worship at Lord Venkateswara Temple here today.

Mr Rao arrived by flight from Hyderabad and motored up to Tirumala from Renigunta Airport. He was received by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Joint Executive Officer G Balaramaiah and Temple Deputy Executive Officer Prabhakar on arrival at the temple. He was given 'prasadam' and 'pattu vastram' before 'darshan'.

He also witnessed 'Kalyana Utsavam'.

Mr Rao was extended honours with Vedic hymns by temple priests at the Ranganatha Mandapam, TTD sources said.

He offered prayers again in the evening and would spend the night on the hill.
