172nd birthday of Ramkrishna celebrated in the state

Agartala, Feb 19 (UNI) The 172nd birth anniversary of Ramakrishna Paramhansa Dev was celebrated today throughout the state with due respect.

The day was celebrated at various places of the state with due respect and devotional songs were sung at Thakur's Ashram.

The day's spirit was, however, slightly affected due to today's 12-hours NSUI statewide bandh as there was lack of communication.

Threewheelers and rickshaws went off the road due to the bandh causing problem for the people who throgned the temples located at math-chowmuhani near here.
