Woman accuses husband of kidnapping her child

Akola, Feb 18 (UNI) The police here have launched a hunt for a man who has allegedly snatched away his 18-month son from the custody of his wife and absconded.

Shamshad Begum from Mazalapur Dapura village in this district had petitioned the court that her 18-month son was snatched away from her by her husband Salim Khan.

Shamshad Begum has stated that she had married Salim Khan in 2003. Her husband had recently quarreled with her and had left the house carrying away the child with him. Following the petition, a search warrant was issued.
