Three people arrested with 4 kg heroin

New Delhi, Feb 18 (UNI) Three people, including a woman, were arrested late last evening in East Delhi and four kg heroin valued at Rs 4 crore was seized from them, police said today.

Rajender Singh, Shamim Ahmed, both hailing from Bareli in Uttar Pradesh, and Anjali Gehlot, a resident of Dabri in South West Delhi were arrested near Akshardham Temple.

Police said the accused were nabbed by the anti-narcotics sleuths while Rajender and Shamim were handing over the consignment to Anjali.

The contraband was brought from Bareli to be sold in Delhi.

On February 16, police arrested three Kashmiris from Southwest Delhi and recovered 8 kg refined 'hashish' from them.
