Nayudamma Memorial Award for Nori Dattatreyudu

Vijayawada, Feb 18 (UNI) Renowned cancer specialist Dr Nori Dattatreyudu of Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medical Centre, New York will be awarded the Dr Y Nayudamma Memorial Award 2006.

Dr Nayudamma Memorial Trust Managing Trustee P Vishnumurthy, in a statement here today said Dr Nori was selected for the award because of his outstanding contribution in the field of cancer research and treatment.

The award would be presented to Dr Nori at a gala function to be held at Tenali in Guntur district on March 4.

Former Karnataka Governor V S Ramadivi would present the award to Dr Nori.
