Imperial Group's Emgreen to invest Rs 80cr in realty biz
New Delhi, Feb 18 (UNI) Emgreen, an Imperial Group real estate arm, will pump in Rs 80 crore into a number of upcoming projects in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Haryana by 2008.
''We will invest Rs 80 crore into various projects including shopping malls, group housing and residential townships by the end of 2008,'' Emgreen Executive Director Amol Arora told UNI here.
The projects in Patiala will cover 2 acres of land, Ludhiana (4 acres), Rajpura (3 acres), Shimla (4 acres), and Panipat (8 acres), he added.
Mr Arora said malls would be constructed malls in Patiala and Rajpura, while group housing and residential townships will be built in rest of the sites.
Earlier this month, Emgreen had launched its new project -- Emgreen Golfview91 -- in Mohali.
''India has everything to offer except lifestyle and a good standard of living. It is this fact that we kept in mind while conceptualising these projects,'' Mr Arora said.
The Imperial Group, set up in 1989, is a diversified entity including real estate, construction, hospitality, education, flexible packaging and communications.
