Governor's Gold Medals awarded to NCC cadets

Imphal, Feb 18 (UNI) Senior cadet of 14 Manipur Battalion NCC and a student of Manipur College Somorendro Meitei received Governor's gold medal for the year 2006.

About 65 Manipur Girl's Coy NCC cadet and student of GP Women's College Heikrujam Jaya Chanu were also awarded the Governor's Gold Medals for the year 2006, in the boys and girls divisions respectively, the PIB (Defence Wing) said today.

The Governor's Gold Medal is awarded to the best NCC cadet (boys and girls) of the State every year.
