47 officials including 15 superintendents among disqualified

Jammu, Feb 18 (UNI) Taking cognizance on the report of select committee appointed for scrutiny and disposal of unfair means, the Jammu and Kshmir government today disqualified 47 officials, including 15 senior lecturers, from examination duties, official sources said.

J&K state board of secondary education (JKSBOSE) sources said 47 officials have been disqualified from examination duties after charges of misusing the power bestowed on them by the Board during various examinations were established against them by the select committee.

''After the charges of encouraging copying and other unfair means levelled against them were established in the investigations conducted by a select committee. The committee has also recommended disqualifyication of one of them for life time,'' an official said.

The official sources said the competent authority of the board, after considering the decision of the select committee, has warned strictly and awarded punishment to them for remunerative assignment of the board from the period they were assigned the respective jobs.
