Woman commits suicide along with four-month-old daughter

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Feb 17 (UNI) A 32-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide along with her four-month-old daughter by throwing themselves into a well at Vadgaon-Kolhati village near here today.

Police sources at Waluj-MIDC police station said the victim had allegedly thrown herself along with her daughter and three-year-old son, but the boy survived, since he took support of a pipe in the well.

The incident occurred sometime around 1130 hrs in the morning and was noticed by the nearby people, who later saved the boy and fished out the bodies of the woman and her daughter.

The victim was a resident of Cidco locality and went along with her kids to the village, few kms away from her place, and committed suicide. Her husband, who is employed with a private transport company, was away on work.

Acting on a preliminary information from the Police Patil of the village, the police have registered a case.
