Sadhu's brother-in-law lands in jail
Patna, Feb 17 (UNI) Chief Judicial Magistrate of Patna Sushma Sinha today remanded in judicial custody three people, including a brother-in-law (sala) of RJD MP Sadhu Yadav, in a case of kidnapping and assault.
The MP, Mr Yadav, had also been made named accused in the case.
During the day, Patna police produced Mr Yadav's brother-in- law Anirudh Rai, driver Deokumar and Mahendra Nath Tiwary before the CJM, who remanded them to jail till March one.
According to the FIR, registered in Phulwarisharif police station, at the instance of Mr Yadav, in a bid to grab a plot of land, his brother-in-law, driver and a few other people had assaulted the complainant and his wife and also kidnapped one person on February 16, 2007.
Altogether, six people were named accused in the case.
