AP: Property worth Rs 30 lakh gutted in fire

Hyderabad, Feb 17: Property worth Rs 30 lakh was destroyed in a fire that broke out in a shoe mart located in a three-storey building here early this morning.

District Fire Officer G V Narayana Rao told sources that ten fire tenders fought for nearly four hours to put out the fire in a garment shop adjacent to the shoe mart was also gutted.

However, no casualty was reported.

Short ciruit was said to be the reason behind the fire, he added.
