File MOE in IPS' DA case,court tells vigilance bureau
Patna, Feb 17 (UNI) Special Vigilance judge of Patna S.P.N.Singh today directed the state vigilance investigation bureau to file a Memo of Evidence (MOE) collected against senior IPS officer Narain Mishara in a Dearness Allowance (DA) case.
Judge Mr Singh passed the order after hearing the anticipatory bail petition filed by Mr Mishra.
While arguing on anticipatory bail petition, counsel for Mr Mishra said that this case had been instituted to ruin the career of his client.
The judge directed the vigilance to file the MOE on or before February 26.
According to the FIR registered by the special unit of state vigilance bureau, Mr Mishra had amassed properties worth of Rs.56,26,679 between 1986 to 2006 which was disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The FIR was registered on February 6, 2007.
Mr Mishra, now under suspension was posted as Director General-cum-Commandent General of homeguards and fire services of Bihar.
