A child dies after consuming chemical substance

Ludhiana, Feb 17 (UNI) A two-and-a-half-year old child died and five other children were taken ill after consuming some chemical substance while playing in Kashmir Nagar locality of the city today, police sources said.

The deceased was identified as Nazrana. The five other children were taken to hospital where they were provided immediate medical aid. Their condition was stated to be out of danger.

The children belonged to the families of two brothers.
