Winter vacations extended in Kashmir, schools to reopen on March
Srinagar, Feb 16 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government has decided to extend the winter vacations in all government and recognised schools in the Kashmir division till February end.
Director of school education, Kashmir, said all the schools in the Kashmir valley, including Tehsil Karnah, will now reopen on March, 2007.
The schools were scheduled to reopen on Monday after winter holidays.
The schools were closed a fortnight before the scheduled date in the first week of December, following heavy snowfall.
