People enjoy cool weather in Kolkata

Kolkata, Feb 16 (UNI) Kolkatans are enjoying the cool weather as the mercury today plunged to 14.4 degrees Celsius.

Met officials have forecast a partly cloudy sky with minimum temperature of 16 degree Celsius.

Due to a depression developed over the Gangetic basin there is a possibility of thunder shower towards the evening, they said.

Today's maximum temperature was 27.2 degree.

High humidity of around 91 per cent was recorded in the morning which decreased steeply to 37 per cent later in the day.

No rainfall was recorded today, sources added.
