Harmony between communities is need of the hour: Minister

Pathanamthitta, Feb 16 (UNI) Devaswam Minister G Sudhakarana said the harmony between various community organisations is the need of the hour.

Speaking after presenting this year's Moolur Award to poet P K Gopi for his anthology 'Chiranthanam', at a function held on the premises of Moolur Memorial at Elavumthitta today, he stated that SNDP Yogam could be described as the organisation which had commanded maximum popular support in the state.

He said SNDP Yogam had the potential to contribute to the overall development of the state in large measure. It is high time that we engaged ourselves in dialogue and discussions to usher in a future based on justice and truth, he added.

K C Rajagopal, MLA presided over the function while P K Gopi expressed his gratitude.
