4 dead in road mishap on Godhra-Vadodara highway

Godhra, Feb 16: Four persons, including two women, were killed and five others injured when their van collided against a truck near Delol village on the Godhra-Vadodara highway, this morning.

The dead also included the van driver Lalu Katara (25).

The victims, who hailed from Rajgarh village of Sardarpura taluka of Madhya Pradesh, were on their way to Pavagadh's Kalimata temple.

Four of them were killed on the spot.

The injured have been admitted to a Vadodara hospital. The other three dead were Raja Naran(16), Savitaben(23) and Parvati Rathod(22).

The truck is yet to be identified, police said.
