DaimlerChrysler says to sell Dodge in China this yr

SHANGHAI, Feb 16 (Reuters) DaimlerChrysler A.G. said on Friday it will start selling its Dodge brand vehicles in China this year, bringing all three of its brands into the world's second-largest vehicle market.

Dodge offers a wide range of products, including minivans and sports cars.

The auto giant is setting up dealership networks throughout the country, it said in a statement. It did not specify which imported Dodge models would be available for sale.

DaimlerChrysler, which competes with the likes of BMW in China, already sells Chrysler vehicles and Jeep and Mercedes-Benz brands in the country.
