All India Naturopathy Congress to be held in Pune from Feb 18

Pune, Feb 16: The first three-day all India Naturopathy History Congress will be held during February 18-20 at Urli Kanchan, about 30 kms, from here.

National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN) Director Dr Babu Joseph told reporters that the Congress aims to garner information about the history of Naturopathy in India and to share experience of senior naturopaths so that the system is supported with a strong background. Around 70 senior naturopaths from different states will attend the conference.

Naturopathy is a drugless, non-invasive, rational and evidence based medicine, imparting treatments based on the theory of vitality and toxemia and the self-healing capacity of the body. It can cure cancer without drugs, he claimed.

''Microbes grow on toxicity and we create an ani-atmosphere for them through principles of healthy eating and living,'' he added.
