Youth's gold chain snatched

Kanchipuram, Feb 15 (UNI) An 18-year-old youth was attacked by four persons and relieved of his gold chain yesterday.

The boy Purushothaman, from Guduvanchery here, had gone to attend nature's call when he was attacked by four persons who came in a Tata Sumo from the direction of Tambaram in Chennai.

They attacked the boy with a knife and snapped his golden chain, worth one sovereign and escaped.

The injured boy was admitted to Chengalpattu Government Hospital.
