Vigilance raids on residence of Homeguard DG's kin
Gaya, Feb 15 (UNI) Sleuths of special vigilance unit today raided the residence of suspended Director General (homeguard) Narain Mishra's relative at Headmanpur village for possessing assets disproportionate to known sources of the income.
Police have recovered some documents from Mr Mishra's residence but refused to disclose the details of the seizures saying that any thing could be said only after proper assessment.
The special vigilance team had carried out raid at the Patna residence of Mr Mishra on February 7.
Another team had found the residence of his relative late Ram Sevak Pandey locked while it had gone to conduct raids in this connection.
The police had broke open the door after one week, when inmates failed to turn up, and carried out search operation to procure the details about the assests of Mr Mishra.
