Videocon to open free service camps in Kerala

Kozhikode, Feb 15: Consumer electronics major Videocon International will open free service camps in Kerala to provide hassle-free service to its clientele during the ensuing West Indies Cricket World Cup.

In addition to 30 such camps, the company also plans to open round-the-clock customer care centres in the state, which accounted for the largest market with 700 dealers throughout, area marketing manager N V Vinod Kumar told reporters here today.

Besides the company would come out with many attractive offers for its customers during the period, he said adding Videocon brand amabssador and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan would announce the scheme at a dealers meeting to be held in Mumbai on February 18.

As part of marketing campaign, the company was planning to organise an exhibition of its new products, such as LCD, Plasma and Microwave Oven, in the city on February 17 and 18, he added.
