Two Hizbul militants gunned down in Udhampur
Jammu, Feb 15 (UNI) Two top militants, including a district commander of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit were gunned down by the security forces in an encounter at Mohore in Udhampur District today.
A Joint search operation was conducted by troops of army and Jammu and Kashmir Police at village Arbense (Gulab Garh) in Mahore police and a hideout of militants was busted Dr SP Vaid, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Zone told UNI during the operation an encounter took place in which two Hizbul Mujahideen militants were killed.
The army spokesperson said the slain militants were identified as Ali Mohd Dandi code Arshad Ayoob hailing Neoch (district commander) and Bashir Ahmed Code Zahir-ul-Islam hailing from Rahab Shalf (tehsil Commander).
