TTE who fined Rabri's parents was a brave man, says Lalu
New Delhi, Feb 15 (UNI) The travelling ticket examiner who ago fined Railway Minister Lalu Prasad parents-in-law for travelling without ticket on a train in Bihar today received praise from an unexpected quarter.

''TTE ne badi veerta ka kaam kiya hai, yeh janne ke bavjood ki unka hamse kya rishta hai,''(The TTE was a brave person who acted against the travellers despite knowing their relation to me), said Mr Prasad while talking to reporters here on the sidelines of a function here.
The Minister said the TTE's conduct in charging money from his parents-in-laws was a pride for Railways, and it should be a lesson for all those travelling without ticket.
''Rules and regulations should be the same for all. The TTE's action shows the kind of cluture we are promoting in the Railways,'' he said.
Mr Prasad's wife and former Bihar chief Minister Rabri Devi's father Shiva Prasad Choudhary and his wife were caught by the TTE had on Monday when they were travelling in an AC first class coach of Darbhanga-New Delhi Sampark Kranti Express.
They, however, paid the charges for the AC travel and were allowed to continue their journey.
