TMSC to work with NeST for medical imaging equipments

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 15 (UNI) Toshiba Medical Systems Corporation (TMSC), global leader in medical imaging equipment, has strengthened its partnership with Network Systems and Technologies (NeST) here.

In the expanded operation of the off-shore software development centre NeST would operate for the TMSC, a NeST release said today.

Over 300 software professionals would develop software for Toshiba's next generation medical imaging equipment, it said.

Impressed with Toshibas Offshore Development Center (ODC) performance at NeST, TMSC president Masamichi Katsurada said 'we look forward to NeST's valuable support as our relationship enters a critical phase of major expansion'.

NeST Managing Director N Jehangir said as the health care segment was poised for tremendous growth in the next decade, the company hoped the opportunity to work and grow with a global player like TMSC was challenging and attractive.

Over a decade, NeST had consolidated its presence in the Japanese market, by delivering high-quality products to technology giants like Toshiba, Hitachi, Mitsubishi and Fujitsu, the release added.
